Day 1

LIVINGSTONE/VICTORIA FALLS

You will be met at Livingstone International Airport by your safari guide and transferred to Tongabezi Lodge for check in. Livingstone which acts as gateway to Zambia is situated near the mighty Zambezi River and breathtaking Victoria Falls. Tongabezi Lodge is a stylish romantic hideaway on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River just upstream of the legendary Victoria Falls. Day 2

Victoria Falls

After a hearty breakfast, depart for a guided tour of Victoria Falls to witness one of the greatest shows on earth, the raging waters of the Zambezi River crashing into the Batoka Gorge. It was described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800s as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’. This world wonder is considered to be the largest waterfall in the world. The immensity of the falls and its huge height and vast width have gained the site a UNESCO World Heritage recognition. Victoria Falls presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. This experience takes you through parts of the Victoria Falls Rain Forest to the cliffs opposite the massive cascade. From here, you get the best view of the main falls. Your local guide will share some interesting facts about the geology, wildlife and history of Africa’s most famous landmark. Witness this remarkable power of nature and a spectacle that will create memories of a lifetime. Time allowing, this afternoon explore the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park which is home to a big variety of wild animals including elephants, buffalo, giraffe, antelopes and zebra and a huge variety of birds.

Day 3

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK : BOTSWANA

Early morning departure from Victoria Falls and head to Chobe National Park in Botswana. You will be met at the border by your Botswana guide and proceed straight to Chobe River to begin your morning game viewing along the Chobe River. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided during the cruise. After lunch, board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park. Chobe in the north of Botswana is home to Africa’s largest elephant population and comprises of rich ecosystems, diverse landscapes and an almost unparalleled abundance of wildlife and birdlife all centred around the stunning Chobe River. Chobe National Park was the first national park in Botswana and has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife. It is the third largest park in the country and famous for its huge herds of elephants and Cape buffalo which converge along the Chobe Riverfront in the dry months. Lions, buffalo, antelopes and hippos inhabit the woods and lagoons around Linyanti Marsh. After this delightful game viewing experience, drive back to Kazungula Border to meet your Zambia Guide and head back to your lodge arriving for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

LIVINGSTONE/DEPARTURE

Enjoy breakfast in the main restaurant. Rest of the morning at leisure. Guests are free to take part in some activities provided in the lodge such as canoeing excursions, guided nature walks, fishing, a walk in the gorge below the falls, cultural visit to the Museum, a visit to Livingstone town, workout in the gym or just relax with a drink by the swimming pool. Thereafter you will be transferred to Livingstone International Airport for your onward departure flight.
