Day 1

Arusha/Tarangire

Depart Arusha, Tanzania's safari capital in a 4x4 safari vehicle and head off to Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, your driver guide will open up the roof to begin viewing breathtaking scenery and myriad of wildlife found here. Tarangire is the fourth largest National Park in Tanzania and its very diverse habitats support an equally rich variety of mammals and birds making it a delight to explore. Magnificent 1000-year-old giant baobab trees punctuate the park and big herds of elephant and other game seasonally swell the large numbers of wildlife here. Overnight at Lolkisale Camp which is set in the heart of Tarangire on the edge of an open wetland frequented by different herds of wildlife in search of water. Inevitably following them closely are the Big Cats of the African savannah. The camp comprises of eight custom-designed luxury safari tents that are carefully designed to blend well with the natural surroundings. Day 2

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Whole day in Tarangire National Park with game drives and other camp activities that include guided nature walks and night game drives to view nocturnal animals such spring hare, leopard, hyena, genets and civets. Tarangire National Park's beautiful landscape is made up of seasonal marshes and seemingly endless savannah with mighty baobab trees. Enjoy extensive game drives and get the best opportunity to view breathtaking scenery and wildlife species found in this magnificent park. During dry months, concentration of wildlife around the Tarangire river is diverse and plentiful. Elephants are the main attraction here with up to 3,000 in the park. During the peak season, good numbers of wildebeest and zebra as well as giraffe, buffalo, Thompson's gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetah are regularly witnessed during morning and afternoon game drives. Tarangire is a great birdwatching destination boasting of more than 500 different species. Tarangire' s landscape comprising of swamps, seasonal rivers and other habitats offer amazing sites for classic birdwatching experience and photography.

Day 3

TARANGIRE/NORTHERN SERENGETI

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the nearby Kuro Airstrip to board your scheduled flight to Kogatende Area of Northern Serengeti. On arrival, with game viewing on the way in an open-sided 4x4 safari vehicle, you will be transferred to Aurari Camp for check in to your luxurious tent. Aurari Camp is conveniently located very close to Mara River on the Great Migration path away from the busy areas of Northern Serengeti. The camp is set in a serene and wilderness area amidst migrating zebras and wildebeest in majestic masses. It consists of 8 luxury tents with each suite comprising of a spacious bedroom, lounge and en-suite bathroom. All the tents are meticulously designed and adorned with beautifully handcrafted furniture and décor made locally. Delicious meals are made-to-order using fresh local ingredients by talented chefs. Day 4

GREAT MIGRATION IN NORTHERN SERENGETI

Whole day in Northern Serengeti with more game drives. Northern Serengeti is home to a remarkable number of wildlife species including all the big mammals, predators and more than 500 bird species. Visit Mara River where thousands of wildebeest and zebra are attacked by crocodiles as they attempt to cross this mighty river during the annual "Great Migration" between Tanzania and Kenya. The migration is today one of the natural world’s most astonishing phenomena. Each year nearly two million wildebeest and accompanying large numbers of zebra, and smaller numbers of Grant's gazelle, Thompson's gazelle, eland and impala trek from the Serengeti to the Maasai Mara and back again in search of fresh grazing. Following hot on their heels are the predators of the savannah: lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The migration involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Viewing these vast herds on the move is always unforgettable sight. This experience is rated as one of the most spectacular natural events.

NORTHERN SERENGETI/NGORONGORO CRATER

After witnessing the most glorious sunrise from your tent in the Serengeti, you will be transferred to Kogatende to board your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip which serves safari camps located within Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will be met by your dedicated safari driver guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle and immediately drive to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for whole day crater safari with lunch under the shade of acacia trees.
Ngorongoro is the largest intact caldera in the world and shelters the most complex wildlife haven on earth. The crater is often referred to as the "8th Wonder of the World" and hosts the most unique ecosystem with over 20,000 large grazing mammals and the largest concentration of predators. It is the best place in Tanzania to see all the "Big 5" in one day and is one of the world’s most astonishing natural wonders. it is home to an incredible assortment of animals including zebra, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest, hippo and elephants and an amazing population of predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals and cheetah. Thereafter drive to Asilia Ngorongoro Highlands Camp for your overnight stay.

NGORONGORO/ARUSHA/ZANZIBAR
