On the way there will be a brief brief stop for picnic lunch at OL Dupai Gorge where DR Leakey discovered the fossils of mankind’s earliest ancestors. Here, Paleoanthropologists have found hundreds of fossilized bones and stone tools in the area dating back millions of years leading them to conclude that humans beings evolved in Africa. OL Dupai is a Maasai word for a wild sisal plant that grows in the area. The gorge is located in the Great Rift Valley between the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park. Proceed on with your journey to Serengeti arriving on time for a delightful afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Acacia Bliss.
