Day 1: Nairobi/Maasai Mara

Your journey begins from Nairobi, the “place of cool waters” in Maasai language as you head to Maasai Mara Game Reserve which is Kenya’s best game viewing spot owing to the nature and concentration of wild animals. Arrive for lunch at Ilkeliani Tented Camp which is nestled in a river glade in an area favourite for elephants coming to drink from the Talek River. After a warm welcome and delightful lunch, embark on a game drive with your driver guide in Maasai Mara, the ancestral home to the Maasai people. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Today enjoy game drives in the Mara that will include visit to the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra are attacked by crocodiles as they attempt to cross this mighty river during the annual migration between Tanzania and Kenya. The annual migration sees over a million wild animals move from Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.Overnight: Sekenani Tented Camp, Full board

Day 3: Maasai Mara/Great Rift Valley

Breakfast and continue on with your journey to the picturesque Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Loldia House, located on the shores of Lake Naivasha which is a freshwater lake and is home to an incredible variety of bird species. This afternoon enjoy a relaxing boat ride and visit to the Crescent Island. Here you will get to see wildlife that include giraffe, zebra, waterbuck, eland and many gazelles in very tranquil environment. Overnight: Loldia House, Full board

Day 4: Great Rift Valley/Amboseli

Satao Elerai Safari Camp Early breakfast and drive via Nairobi heading south to Amboseli National Reserve arriving for lunch at Satao Elerai Camp, located in a quiet, unspoilt, unique setting on private conservancy overlooking down onto the Amboseli National Reserve in one direction and up to Mount Kilimanjaro in the other direction. Later in afternoon, head out for a game drive in the conservancy returning back to the lodge for dinner.Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. Day 5: Amboseli National Reserve

Today enjoy early morning, mid morning and afternoon game drives in this magnificent park located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Amboseli comprises of grove of acacia trees and golden savannah plains and close by are a series of emerald green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro providing sources of water to huge numbers of wallowing elephants, hippos, buffalos and plains game. Day 6: Amboseli/Tsavo West

Breakfast and drive via to Tsavo West Park arriving for lunch at Severin Safari Camp which is set amidst the African wilderness in the heart of Tsavo. The camp offers guests unique safari experience combining adventure, recreation and very exclusive guest service. After a delicious lunch, it’s time for an afternoon game drive to explore Tsavo West National Park. Overnight: Severin Safari Camp, Full board

Day 7: Tsavo West National Park

Today enjoy game drives in Tsavo West National Park which is internationally famous for its large herds of elephant and spectacular mountainous landscapes. Visit Mzima Springs which is very attractive lake located in the northern side of the park. Mzima Springs is a set of crystal-clear ponds, fed by the melt waters of Mount Kilimanjaro, in which many hippos can be viewed from a submerged chamber. Overnight: Severin Safari Camp, Full board

Day 8: Tsavo West/Nairobi

Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off either at your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport for your departure flight.
