Day 1: Arusha/Tarangire

Kirurumu Tarangire Tented Camp

Depart Arusha by road to Tarangire National Park arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive to view huge diversity of wildlife found in this area. Tarangire National Park is the fourth largest National Park in Tanzania and its very diverse habitats, supporting an equally rich variety of mammals, birds and flora, make it a delight to explore. Magnificent 1000-year-old giant Baobab trees punctuate the park and large herds of elephant and other game seasonally swell the large numbers of game. Overnight Kirurumu Tarangire Tented Camp. Tarangire Camp is located in a private conservancy just outside the Tarangire National Park. The camp is perfectly positioned in a grove of beautiful Acacia Tortilis trees. The camp is ideal for exploring the best of Tarangire’s amazing game viewing and offers stunning views over a water hole and to the park. Facilities include 10 tented cottages, 2 honeymoon suites and 2 family cottages, fully ensuite bathrooms, hot and cold running water and electricity

Day 2: Tarangire/Lake Manyara

Manyara Tented Camp

Early morning game drive Tarangire National Park. Located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travellers to the region either miss out Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for a matter of hours – leaving swathes of Tarangire virtually untouched! After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara Conservancy for full day game drive with picnic lunch. Manyara Ranch Conservancy is situated within the wildlife corridor between Tarangire and Manyara National Parks in Tanzania. It offers a superb wilderness area with an excellent cultural mix. The Conservancy provides guided game walks, night game drives in 4×4 open safari vehicles. Game viewing from hides overlooking waterholes and horseback riding with big game as well as bush breakfasts, bush lunches and evening sundowners. Overnight at Manyara Tented Camp. Manyara Tented Camp provides guests with a completely exclusive experience in a unique wilderness. It comprises of only six luxury East African style tents that offer luxurious accommodation, perfectly located for ample wildlife viewing. Amenities include ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold running water and showers. All tents are placed under acacia trees for shade and all command panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes

Day 3: Lake Manyara/Serengeti

Breakfast and depart for Serengeti National Park arriving for lunch at Serengeti Migration Camp which is located next to the famous Grumeti River and is home to resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away. Serengeti Migration Camp has become synonymous with amazing game viewing in a landscape that is untouched since the dawn of time. Hidden among the rocky outcrops, Serengeti Migration Camp is the starting point of the Great Migration. Comprising of 20 luxurious elevated tents, each with spacious and richly furnished bedrooms, the camp blends seamlessly into the environment. Each of the tents is surrounded by its own 360-degree verandah deck, which in turn creates your very own private sanctuary to enjoy the constant game sightings and the ever-present sounds of the bush. Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Today enjoy early morning, mid morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is internationally renowned for the greatest wildlife spectacle on the planet. Located in north west Tanzania, Serengeti is the ultimate ‘wildlife show’ on earth and best known for its unequalled natural beauty and diverse wildlife. As such, it offers the most complex and least disturbed ecosystem on earth. Serengeti’s unique combination of diverse habitats enables it to support more than 30 species of large herbivores and nearly 500 species of birds. Its landscape, originally formed by volcanic activity, has been sculptured by the concerted action of wind, rain and sun. It now varies from open grass plains in the south, savannah with scattered acacia trees in the centre, hilly, wooded grassland in the north, to extensive woodland and black clay plains to the west. Small rivers, lakes and swamps are scattered throughout. Overnight at Serengeti Migration Camp

Day 5: Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater

Breakfast and depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way stop at Oldupai Gorge for a brief tour and picnic lunch. Oldupai Gorge (originally misnamed Olduvai Gorge) is the most famous archaeological location in East Africa. Oldupai is an important place in the world for the study of human origins and human evolution. It’s here at that that the remains of the earliest humans were found making Africa the “Cradle of Mankind”. After lunch proceed to Ngorongoro Crater arriving Exploreans Lodge late afternoon. Overnight Ngorongoro Exploreans Lodge. Ngorongoro Exploreans Lodge is set in 50 acres of virgin Tanzanian bush in the Ngorongoro volcanic landscape, this all suites wood log cabin style retreat features 20 spacious private log cabins with fire place, a restaurant, a bar and swimming pool

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

Full day crater safari with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world and shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens anywhere in the world. Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World and hosts the most unique ecosystem on earth with 20,000 large grazing mammals and the largest concentration of predators. Day 7: Ngorongoro/Arusha

Breakfast and depart for Arusha arriving for lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge. Thereafter transfer to the airport for your onward departure flight.
