Honeymoon Safari

If you’re planning your honeymoon, have you thought about doing something different to the norm? If you’re the adventurous type, then instead of choosing from the typical locations for a honeymoon, such as the Bahamas or the Caribbean, why not do something truly amazing and embark on a honeymoon safari in Africa? It is a fantastic getaway where you will have countless stories to tell when you return back home. Here are just some of the ways you will enjoy your unique honeymoon.

It’s a little bit different

A safari honeymoon is certainly unconventional, but that does not take away from the experience you would expect – it adds to it. What better way to begin married life than on an exciting adventure together? You can still sunbathe, relax and drink cocktails, but you can also tailor your itinerary to take in amazing parts of Africa and create life-changing memories too.

Your every need tended to

As you would expect from your honeymoon, your every want and need will be handled by friendly staff and guides. Let them take care of everything– from your food and drink, to accommodation and places to visit.
Romance is definitely on the cards with a safari honeymoon, so if you would like a candlelit dinner or a bottle of champagne to greet you on arrival, then that can be arranged.

Luxury accommodation

You might think that a safari camp would be a far cry from premiere hotels. However, every accommodation that you stay in on your honeymoon not only has stunning views of indigenous forest, beautiful waterholes and the African wilderness; but is every inch of luxury. Whether it’s an overnight stay at the Karen Blixen eco-friendly luxury camp with views of the Mara River, or a stopover at the Samburu Intrepids Club with its secluded verandas and flex-body therapy sessions, you can truly relax with everything you need to make the most of your time together. All accommodation that you visit will have your basic needs and a few special additions to make your stay memorable.

Amazing wildlife and sights

On your safari honeymoon you can expect to see a whole host of wonderful animals in their natural habitat. From observing lions and leopards out on the African plains to visiting the Samburu Game Reserve to watch the vast species of birds, you and your partner will witness this once in a lifetime experience together and remember it for years to come.

What’s more, Africa offers an array of breathtaking landscapes including acres of wilderness, beautiful coastlines and the savannah plains. Take in these astonishing views lit by the sunrise on an early morning game drive together.
