Day 1: Nairobi

Meet and Greet upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You will be transferred to Southern Sun Mayfair Nairobi for check in and arrival refreshments. Rest of the day is meant simply for relaxation. Southern Sun Mayfair is a beautiful and comforting hotel set on 5 acres of landscaped gardens in Westlands suburb of Nairobi. Nairobi is Kenya’s capital city. In addition to its urban core, the city has Nairobi National Park, a large game reserve known for breeding endangered black rhinos and home to giraffes, zebras and lions. Next to it is a well-regarded elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Nairobi is also often used as a jumping-off point for safari trips elsewhere in Kenya .Nairobi is the only capital in the world with a National Park within the city. This alone makes any itinerary for any tourist here on a short stay or long stay exciting. Among the top destinations frequented by visitors in Nairobi are the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and Nairobi National Park. Overnight at Southern Sun Mayfair

Day 2: Nairobi/Amboseli

Breakfast and transfer to Wilson Airport for a scheduled one hour flight to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your safari guide and driven to Satao Elerai Camp for check into your luxurious tent. Satao Elerai Camp is located in a private conservation area few kilometres south east of Amboseli National Park overlooking down onto the Amboseli National Park in one direction and up to Mount Kilimanjaro in the other direction, giving clients what is arguably the best location of any camp in Amboseli. This afternoon after lunch, proceed for a game drive in the conservancy, returning back to the camp just before sunset. Overnight at Satao Elerai Camp

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

Today enjoy full day game drive with picnic lunch in Amboseli which is truly an amazing park. With grasslands crossing the Kenya – Tanzania border, this park is a popular choice to get close to free-ranging elephants. Amboseli comprises of grove of acacia trees and golden savannah plains and close by are a series of emerald green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro providing sources of water to huge numbers of wallowing elephant, hippo, buffalo and plains game. Day 4: Amboseli/Nairobi/Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart Amboseli Game Reserve on a scheduled flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Connect flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrival transfer to Karen Blixen Camp located in the Mara North Conservancy. Afternoon game drive in the conservancy which is a spectacular natural wilderness bordering Maasai Mara. Overnight at Karen Blixen Camp

Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today enjoy whole day game drive with picnic lunch in Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Maasai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries and punctuated by marshes and forests. Located in South West of Kenya, Maasai Mara is world famous for its 580 square miles of land where over 95 kinds of mammals and 570 types of bird live and renowned for its huge population of lions. The reserve is home to all the “big five” and supports the highest density of wildlife to be seen anywhere. Overnight at Karen Blixen Camp

Day 6: Masai Mara/Nothern Serengeti

Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip to board your scheduled flight to Serengeti National Park, Northern Tanzania ETD 1215hs. There will a brief transfer and Customs & Immigration formalities at Isebania Border Post. Proceed on with your scheduled flight to Serengeti National Park. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your hosts in the camp’s 4×4 safari vehicle and transferred to Serengeti Migration Camp which is hidden among the rocky outcrops or kopjes and consists of spacious tents that have been carefully placed to provide privacy and blend into nature’s architecture, overlooking the Grumeti River and its resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away. From the Lamai Wedge Triangle, at the extreme northern end of the Serengeti National Park, privileged observers can overlook the climax of the mass migration whilst they enjoy the newly conceded comforts of safari travel in Africa, eco-luxury tourism, away from the eager crowds of onlookers clustered on the Masai Mara National Reserve expanse of the Kenyan border of the Serengeti-Masai Mara ecosystem. Later proceed for the afternoon game drive returning before sunset for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Migration Camp

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

This day after breakfast, you will board an open-sided 4×4 safari vehicle for full day game drive in the Serengeti with picnic lunch. Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous wildlife areas in the world is home are home to incredible herds of wildebeest and other grazing animals. The area comprises of short-grass southern plains, savannah dotted with acacia and granite outcroppings called kopjes, and riverine bush and forest in the north. The Serengeti is a vast ecosystem in east-central Africa. It spans 12,000 square miles (30,000 square kilometers), according to NASA, giving rise to its name, which is derived from the Maasai language and means “endless plains.”This region of Africa is located in north Tanzania and extends to southwestern Kenya. The Serengeti encompasses Serengeti National Park and a number of protected game reserves and conservation areas maintained by the governments of Tanzania and Kenya. The region hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for African safaris. Overnight at Serengeti Migration Camp

Day 8: Serengeti/Ngongoro Crater

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the Airstrip to board scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip ETD 1130hrs. 1235hrs You will be met on arrival at Manyara Airstrip and transferred to Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp. Lemala Ngorongoro is set in a delightful ancient acacia forest on the rim of the crater and offers accommodation in spacious canvas tents ensuring intimacy on the pristine forest environment. This afternoon, there will be half day tour of the Ngorongoro Crater using the lodge’s 4×4 safari vehicle. The Ngorongoro is the best place in Tanzania to see all the big five and huge herds of wildebeest, buffalo and zebra. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in Tanzania to see the Big Five. However, as one of the world’s most astonishing and renowned natural wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater does get busy, and at times very busy. Due to the crowds we recommend a two-night stay only here, then moving on to the Serengeti for a quieter, more private safari experience. Overnight at Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp

Day 9: Ngongoro/Arusha

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Manyara Airstrip to board scheduled flight to Arusha departing at 1100hrs to arrive Arusha Airport at 1215hrs. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch. Thereafter, you will transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to board your departure flight back home or to Zanzibar for well deserved beach holiday in this famous Spice Island.
