Day 1: Nairobi/Maasai Mara

Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).Your journey begins from Nairobi, the “place of cool waters” in Maasai language as you head to Maasai Mara Game Reserve which is Kenya’s best game viewing spot owing to the nature and concentration of wild animals. Arrive for lunch at Ilkeliani Tented Camp which is nestled in a river glade in an area favourite for elephants coming to drink from the Talek River. After a warm welcome and delightful lunch, embark on a game drive with your driver guide in Maasai Mara, the ancestral home to the Maasai people. Overnight: Sekenani Tented Camp, Full board


Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Today enjoy game drives in the Mara that will include visit to the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra are attacked by crocodiles as they attempt to cross this mighty river during the annual migration between Tanzania and Kenya. The annual migration sees over a million wild animals move from Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Overnight: Sekenani Tented Camp, Full board


Day 3: Maasai Mara/Great Rift Valley

The Great Rift Valley is a name given to the continuous geographic trench, approximately 6,000 kilometres (3,700 mi) in length, that runs from Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley in Asia to Mozambique in Southeastern Africa. The name continues in some usages, although it is today considered geologically imprecise as it combines features that are today regarded as separate, although related, rift and fault systems. Breakfast and continue on with your journey to the picturesque Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge, located on the shores of Lake Naivasha which is a freshwater lake and is home to an incredible variety of bird species. This afternoon enjoy a relaxing boat ride and visit to the Crescent Island. Here you will get to see wildlife that include giraffe, zebra, waterbuck, eland and many gazelles in very tranquil environment. Breakfast and continue on with your journey to the picturesque Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Loldia House, located on the shores of Lake Naivasha which is a freshwater lake and is home to an incredible variety of bird species. This afternoon enjoy a relaxing boat ride and visit to the Crescent Island. Here you will get to see wildlife that include giraffe, zebra, waterbuck, eland and many gazelles in very tranquil environment. Overnight: Loldia House, Full board


Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park

Proceed for whole day game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park which a world famous wildlife habitat is offering a wide ecological diversity, from lakeshore, woodlands, grassy plains to rocky escarpments and ridges. Hot lunch will be served at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Later in the afternoon drive to Sunbird Lodge located on the shore of Lake Elementaita for overnight, Full board.


Day 5: Naivasha/Aberdares Mountains

Enjoy early morning nature walk to the shore of Lake Elementaita which is home to over 400 bird species. Breakfast and drive to the Aberdares ranges arriving at Outspan hotel for hot lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Treetops Lodge for overnight game viewing. Treetops Lodge is nestled deep in the forests of Aberdares National Park lies in the path of an ancient elephant migratory route between the Aberdares Mountains and Mount Kenya and is strategically located right in front of a watering hole and salt lick. The forest is home to many wildlife species that include elephant, rhino, warthog, bush pig and giant forest hog, waterbuck, duiker, bongo and reedbuck. Overnight: Treetops Lodge, Full board


Day 6: Aberdares/Laikipia

Pick up from your hotel early in the morning after breakfast by your safari guide as you head off to Laikipia arriving on time for lunch at Serena Sweetwater’s Tented Camp located in OL Pejeta Conservancy. Freshen up and relax in your tent before heading out for an afternoon game drive that will include a visit to both the Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries. Make yourself at home during your safari holiday with modern amenities including free Wi-Fi, a coffee/tea making station and plush bathrobes and slippers. Evening hot water bottles are provided; mosquito nets, extra beds and cots are available upon request.Freshen up and relax in your tent before heading out for an afternoon game drive that will include a visit to both the Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries. The combination of wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. Day 7: Sweetwaters/Nairobi

Enjoy fresh cup of coffee or tea before heading out for an early morning game drive in this 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy providing very fascinating game viewing opportunities. Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving at mid day. You will be dropped off either at your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport for your departure flight.
