Day 1: Nairobi / Laikipia

Pick up from your hotel early in the morning after breakfast by your safari guide as you head off to Laikipia arriving on time for lunch at Serena Sweetwater’s Tented Camp located in OL Pejeta Conservancy. Freshen up and relax in your tent before heading out for an afternoon game drive that will include a visit to both the Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries. Make yourself at home during your safari holiday with modern amenities including free Wi-Fi, a coffee/tea making station and plush bathrobes and slippers. Evening hot water bottles are provided; mosquito nets, extra beds and cots are available upon request.Freshen up and relax in your tent before heading out for an afternoon game drive that will include a visit to both the Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries. The combination of wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. Day 2: Sweetwater’s / Aberdares

Enjoy fresh cup of coffee or tea before heading out for an early morning game drive in this 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy providing very fascinating game viewing opportunities. Return to the camp for breakfast and head to Aberdares ranges arriving for lunch at Aberdares Country Club. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to The Ark Forest Lodge which is tucked into the thick, verdant forests of Aberdares National Park for overnight game viewing, Full board.


Day 3: Aberdares / Great Rift Valley

Breakfast and drive into the Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Sunbird Lodge located on the shores of Lake Elementaita. Proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park which a world famous wildlife habitat is offering a wide ecological diversity, from lakeshore, woodlands, grassy plains to rocky escarpments and ridges. The region is home to the uncommon Grevy’s zebra with huge fury ears, gerenuk antelope standing on hind legs to feed, Somali ostriches with distinct blue legs and the shy Oryx. Elephant and crocodile are guaranteed sightings, excellent bird watching with numerous varieties of weaverbirds and the martial eagle. Leopard sighting is also a special feature here.Early morning tea or coffee before heading to the Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge in Lak e Nakuru National Park. Later proceed for an afternoon game drive in this world famous wildlife habitat offering a wide ecological diversity, from lakeshore, woodlands, grassy plains to rocky escarpments and ridges.Overnight: Sunbird Lodge, Full board

 


Day 4: Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara

Ilkeliani Tented Camp Enjoy early morning nature walk to the shores of Lake Elementaita which is home to over 400 bird species. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).Leaving the Great Rift Valley behind, you will head out to Maasai Mara, which is the most outstanding wildlife sanctuary and Kenya’s premier game reserve, arriving for lunch at Ilkeliani Tented Camp which is nestled in a river glade in an area favourite for elephants coming to drink from the Talek River. After a warm welcome and delightful lunch, embark on a game drive with your driver guide in Masai Mara, the ancestral home to the Maasai people. Overnight: Ilkeliani Tented Camp, Full board


Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today enjoy game drives in the Mara that will include visit to the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra are attacked by crocodiles as they attempt to cross this mighty river during the annual migration between Tanzania and Kenya. The annual migration sees over a million wild animals move from Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Overnight: Ilkeliani Tented Camp, Full board


Day 6: Masai Mara / Nairobi

Breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off either at your Nairobi Hotel or at the airport for your departure flight.
